Flower Care Tips

    • Fill a clean pitcher/vase with room temperature water

    • Freshly cut the stems of the bouquet (at an angle preferably)

    • Plunk them in the water... Boom. Done!

  • To properly and affordably feed your flowers do one thing: USE THE FLOWER FOOD PACKET provided.

Recut the stems (at a sharp angle) and replace them in the vase ensuring there are no leaves below the water line

    • Two times a week remove the flowers from their vase

    • Dump it out, rinse/clean it and replace it's water

  • Three places you should NOT leave your blooms:

    • In direct sun light. The kitchen window is great for potted succulents, but detrimental for cut blooms. The heat and exposure tells the flower to develop/blow open quickly, thus killing it faster.

    • In the fridge. PSA: floral coolers and home refrigerators are not created equally. Floral coolers are designed to retain humidity, while kitchen refrigerators remove it. Sucking the humidity out of your flowers will dry them up, and the ethylene gases released from their fresh food companions will do double deadly duty on them.

    • Among pets. Obviously damage caused by pet sampling leads to an unhappy bouquet, but a more important PSA to mention is that commercially grown flowers -especially- are not safe around nibbling fur-bearing family members. Not only are some flowers naturally harmful/poisonous to begin with, but often they have been sprayed during their development with pest or herbicides which is very dangerous for consumption.
